In light of the Christmas day attempted bombing of the KLM flight, I am definitely in favor of stronger security measures in today's day and age. I was sort of in the middle when it came to those new body scanners. On one side, I can totally understand civil liberties groups and individuals complaining about the privacy issues. I can also see the need for better technology to ensure the safety of all.

Well, recently, the staff who are supposed to be utilizing the technology, the TSA (Transportation Security Administration), had a flare up because of the technology and the potential privacy issues they raise.
