In our materialistic age, its refreshing to see a good example of how we should be. Less waste on luxury and exuberance (I guess in other ways, she is not a good example, but anyways).

Instead of buying that new purse, tie, or other non-necessity, send that money to the stricken in Haiti. Or the poor right down the street from you.
