I sent Dunkin Donuts a complaint letter saying I was outraged by their pulling Rachel Ray's ad. They sent me the pathetic response two emails below. I sent the below followup. If you have time and are interested, please contact them as well. Use the same customerservicereply@... address. Don't forward my message, just type your own.

Your response only strengthens my feelings against you unfortunately. Is it each time someone complains about some aspect of your advertising, you throw away all the millions you spend and pull the ads? Very very sad. If someone from the KKK complains that an ad has an african american in it, do you pull the ad? This is the same type of blatant racism. Shame on you!

Thank you for sharing your comments. We always appreciate hearing from our customers. The intent of the online ad featuring Rachael Ray wearing a paisley silk scarf was to promote iced coffee. Given the surprising and truly unfortunate interpretation of this ad from some of our consumers, we decided to pull the ad and replace it with another as it is no longer serving its intended purpose, which was to simply promote our iced coffee---nothing more, nothing less.
At Dunkin' Donuts, we value all of our customers and remain steadfastly committed to making your experiences with us both memorable and pleasant. Thank you, again, for making us aware of your concerns; it is appreciated
